Marisa Weisinger (CTPTO) is the TAPT Executive Director. Prior to accepting this position she was a Director of Transportation for both Humble ISD and Columbia-Brazoria ISD; Education Specialist for Region 4 Education Service Center; Interim and Assistant Director at Huntsville ISD; and Trainer for Birdville ISD – totaling over 30 years in the student transportation industry. She has presented both nationally, regionally and locally; is an adjunct instructor for the Region 4 Trainer Academy; past Principal Coordinator for the TEEX Train the Trainer Class; is a certified ISO Inspector; is the Vice-Chair for the NASDPTS State and National Association Committee; has been an instructor of professional development courses for TAPT, NAPT and TASBO; selected for the NAPT Special Needs Above and Beyond Award; written articles for both national industry magazines and other publications; Is TAPT Professionally Certified as an Official; NAPT Special Needs Certification; and served on several national and local committees. She is married to Brian Weisinger and together they have 4 children and 7 grandchildren.
