Ann (Hatton) McWilliams is a highly motivated and detail-oriented finance and management professional with more than 25 years of experience in leadership, team development, and operational oversight. Known for her strong business acumen and collaborative approach, Ann has built a career focused on improving processes, strengthening teams, and delivering results in complex, fast-paced environments.
Currently, Ann serves as a Customer Success Account Advisor with SMART tag in Georgetown, Texas, where she develops and maintains trusted, long-term customer relationships. In this role, she partners closely with clients to ensure their needs are clearly understood across departments, manages concerns to successful resolution, supports KPI development, and helps guide product releases and enhancements. She also plays a key role in identifying opportunities for subscription growth while ensuring a consistently positive customer experience.
Prior to joining SMART tag, Ann held senior transportation leadership roles with Liberty Hill ISD, Del Valle ISD, Leander ISD, and Round Rock ISD. As Director of Transportation, she led significant operational and safety improvements, including the implementation of advanced routing systems, innovative student management processes, and technology-driven training programs. Her leadership efforts resulted in measurable outcomes such as improved student behavior, increased badge usage, reduced accidents, enhanced employee retention, and substantial cost savings for districts.
Throughout her career, Ann has demonstrated a strong commitment to compliance, fiscal responsibility, and employee development. She is recognized for her ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, lead with empathy, and build strong relationships with school communities and stakeholders.
