My name is Angel Kersten and I am honored to serve as Area 3 Director for the 2020-2021 school year. I recently became a Professional Development Instructor with TAPT .
I graduated from Ashford University with a Bachelor of Arts in 2011. I am currently employed as the Transportation Director with Angleton ISD. I have been in the Transportation industry since 2004. I enjoy all of the different aspects of what makes a Transportation Department successful and look forward to many more years in this industry.
I have also had the pleasure of serving as a Committee Member for the Gulf Coast Chapter for Pupil Transportation as the Secretary, Vice-President, President-Elect, President and ending my tenure as the Past-President. However, I still enjoy helping out when needed and still volunteer in different capacities for School Bus Road-e-o at the District, Regional and State Level.
My husband Raymond and I live in West Columbia Texas along with our two children, Raymond Michael and Gracie. I am also very fortunate to have a wonderful step-daughter that has blessed us with four beautiful grandchildren. Kadin and “the trips” as we call them Konner, Karter, Kersten!
