I was born in Denton, Texas. I am the fifth of eight children, six girls and two boys. I am married to my wife, Leslie of 5 years and live in Plano, Texas. Together, we have five children, all adults and out of the house.
I work for Longhorn Bus Sales as the EV Bus Consultant and have been with Longhorn since 2022. My work is to promote the IC and Collins electric school buses in Texas by helping districts with electric school buses, infrastructure and grants.
Before joining Longhorn Bus Sales, I worked 36 years in school bus transportation. I retired in 2022 while working at Frisco ISD as Managing Director of Transportation. Before Frisco ISD, I had stops at Dallas ISD, Dallas County Schools, Denton ISD, Laidlaw Transit (Planview ISD and McKinney ISD).
I started working as a school bus driver in 1985 while in college at University of North Texas. I earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. I enjoy singing, guitar, golf, travel and spending time with family.
